Well, we have something in common. My sister is gay and has been with her partner for 26 years-the same as my husband and me. They have lots of dogs and cats, no kids.
I do think these things will become more and more accepted. I’m from the South and Christian fundamentalism, but I’m now agnostic. My wide reading, my analytical mind, my living in other states, my wonderful sister being gay have all impacted my attitudes. Those who’ve stayed in fundie churches, never moved, no gay relatives, etc. aren’t as likely to come to their senses on these things, I think.
